Closet clean-out tips from celebrity stylist: Simple ways to accessorize for spring

Brandie Price Closet Tips Day 4

Over the past three days Brandie Price, Makeup Artist & Celebrity Stylist has shared tips for you to tactically go through your wardrobe, embrace your true style, get more out of your wardrobe, and choose the right accessories going into Spring.

Today she shows you how to accessorize your remaining clothes for the season.

So you’ve cleaned out the clutter in your wardrobe and you are wondering what accessories would be a great addition to elevate your look. You don’t need a ton of accessories, but here are a few pieces you should have on hand:

  • 1 large handbag
  • 1 small handbag
  • 3 pairs of shoes with varying heel height and color
  • 2-3 scarves
  • 2-3 belts
  • 1-2 hats (style permitting)

Two ways to choose accessories for visual impact:

Compliment — choose a shade or pattern that will compliment your wardrobe.

Complimenting your color palette will provide a fluid visual. This provides a peaceful visual appearance

Contrast — choose a shade or pattern that will contrast your wardrobe.

Contrasting your wardrobe will provide a pop of visual presence. This provides a playful visual appearance.
