Cocktail Tour – Hotel Tango Whiskey

Inaugural Two-Day Event to get people in the spirit of celebrating beverage culture come alive with the Indianapolis Cocktail Tour on Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20.

Attendees will be able to sample cocktails from participating locations during the inaugural Mixture – An Indianapolis Cocktail Tour on Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20 from 5:30 – 10:30 p.m.

Mixture begins on Georgia Street where attendees will receive a passport mapping out all locations. They will also be able to try samples from Indiana breweries and restaurants. From this location, guests can utilize transportation arranged through HandleBar and Indy BrewBus to 20 participating locations serving drink samples in four downtown districts – Wholesale, Mass Ave, Fletcher Place and Fountain Square.

“Mixture will truly allow attendees to experience the flavor of Indianapolis through a Tour of the City to visit Indy’s best bartenders while tasting special cocktails,” said Arthur Black, president of the Indiana Craft Beverage Association. “The craft beverage scene in Indianapolis compares to any other large city and it’s time to showcase the Circle City as a credible destination both locally and nationally.”

The districts are representing a spirit genre each evening and participating locations will create cocktails based on the product. Attendees can choose where to visit based on their preference.

Mixture was developed by the Indiana Craft Beverage Association with support from spirit wholesalers, restaurants, bars, community organizations and Indiana-based distilleries and breweries to empower industry professionals, educate the community and increase exposure of Indiana’s craft beverage scene.

Tickets are $50 for one night per person or $85 for two nights per person and can be purchased at Attendees must be at least 21 years old.

2oz Golf Gin

1oz fresh squeezed lemon juice

1oz green tea simple syrup

Shake with ice

double strain over ice

Fletcher’s Tango

2oz Romeo Rum

.5oz fresh squeezed grapefruit juice

.5oz fresh squeezed lemon juice

.5oz orgeat simple syrup

2 dashes angostura bitters

.75oz green tea simple syrup

shake with ice

Strain over ice

Splash with soda water
