Crafts, Arts, Painting and MORE at this weekend’s Arts Center Fall Festival

Get your “pumpkin-carving game face” ON! It’s almost time for the ARTSPARK Fall Festival in Broad Ripple!

• The ARTSPARK Fall Festival is Saturday, Oct. 9 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Indianapolis Art Center in Broad Ripple.

• Costumes encouraged

• Admission is free

• Activities costing $2-$10 range from carving and paining pumpkins, making bracelets, making prints.

• Shop local artist and artisan booths featuring glass pumpkins, ceramics, fiber arts, candles, painting, jewelry and more.

• Food and beverage highlights include ice cream supplied by BRICS and beer supplied by Sun King Brewery, plus food trucks.

• The festival date is the final week that the exhibition 365+ is on view to the public. Created and curated by the EIGHTEEN Art Collective, these works were made in the year since the Indy Black Lives Matter street mural was completed.

• The Art Center’s ARTSPARK is a 9.5-acre greenspace along the White River and the Monon Trail. It features more than 20 outdoor sculpture, a riverfront stage, trails and more.

• After the afternoon event, ARTSPARK will host the Heartland Film Festival for a screening of Mayberry Man at 6:15 p.m. and Harvey – A Jimmy Stewart Retrospective at 8:30 p.m. Tickets available at https://www.heartlandfilm.org/festival.
