Creating paper microscope slides with scientist Rick Crosslin
INDIANAPOLIS — (WISH) Scientist Rick Crosslin joined us today for an exciting family-friendly activity! He taught us how to make paper microscope slides to collect and observe “specimens” around the house! Here are the instructions for this fun investigation!
Materials needed:
- scissors
- clear tape
- index card or paper
- rock, salt, dead bug, or other household items
- a hand lens, toothpicks, microscope, tape, index cards, scissors, pencil
