Field established for 2021 Dan Patch Stakes at Hoosier Park
Harrah’s Hoosier Park’s premier harness racing event, the $325,000 Dan Patch Stakes kicks off on Friday.

Ten of the top rated older pacers in North America will take center stage as they go to post seeking fame in the 28th installment of Hoosier Park’s premier harness racing event, the $325,000 Dan Patch Stakes.
As part of a special evening tagged as “Dan Patch Festival Weekend,” Hoosier Park will showcase some of the most notable names in harness racing alongside specialty wagers, food trucks, giveaways, family fun and more!
The Dan Patch is Indiana’s richest harness race. With combined career purse earnings over $10 million, the race includes four millionaires and two World Champions.
The evening will also include a free Dan Patch duffel bag to the first 500 guests, and a $1,000 Cash giveaway where two lucky fans will win $500 cash immediately following the Dan Patch race.
In addition to food trucks, an ice cream wagon and family fun, Hoosier Park will offer giveaways and prizes.
On Saturday, Cook and Belle will perform a free show in the Terrace Showroom immediately following live racing.
Admission is free. The First Race starts at 6:30pm.
