How to pick a summer camp for your kid

On February 21, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Fashion Mall, families from all over Central Indiana will have the opportunity to explore over 60 overnight camps, day camps and summer programs at the 26th Annual Camp Fair, hosted by Indy’s Child. If you are looking for a camp or summer program for your child, exhibitors will be on-hand to answer your many questions face-to-face. At the 26th Annual Camp Fair, you can plan your child’s summer of fun all in one day. To top it off, they will provide lots of fun entertainment from face painters, prize wheel, mock covers, and much more.

It’s a great time to ask all those questions that you have and you get to talk right to the camp director.”  Wendy Cox, Indy’s Child

The summer camps range from traditional sleep over camps to local day camps. At the summer camp fair, parents will have the opportunity to meet camp directors face-to-face and ask questions to find out if their program is right for their child.

The camp fair is a family event and many of the camps will bring activities for kids to try out. It’s a great opportunity for older kids to attend and help their parents pick out a camp for them. There are so many different niche camps that everyone can find their perfect fit!
