Indianapolis Quartet set to make New York City debut

Get ready. In just weeks, the Indianapolis Quartet will make their New York City debut at the Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall, giving the World Premierre of Robert Paterson’s third string quartet along with works by Claude Debussy and Indianapolis composer Frank Felice.

Can’t make it to New York? No worries. You can also catch the quartet at the Faculty Artist Series at the University of Indianapolis Christel DeHaan Fine Arts Center on March 30th at 7:30pm.

First though, they perform for us on today’s Indy Style. Here they are: Zachary DePue, violin, Joana Genova, violin, Michael Strauss, viola, and Austin Huntington, cello.

About: The Indianapolis Quartet, now in its fourth year as ensemble-in-residence at the University of Indianapolis with support from the Christel DeHaan Family Foundation, continues to expand their performing schedule. So far this season The Quartet has given concerts and masterclasses at Sonoran Chamber Music series at Arizona State University, Indiana State University’s 52nd annual Contemporary Music Festival, Eidson Duckwall Artist Series at Butler University and The University of Indianapolis.
