About the Italian Film Festival USA
The Italian Film Festival USA is a non-profit organization that provides the public an opportunity to see contemporary Italian films by award-winning directors. Free admission with English subtitles, these movies bring to life the land, language, art, and culture of Italy. For detailed descriptions of each movie and more informational about the festival, please visit the Italian Film Festival USA: Indianapolis website.

The festival began in St. Louis in 2005 and has spread to thirteen other cities. Primarily held on college campuses, this year we also have screenings at the 1100 seat Detroit Film Theatre, four at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art in Kansas City, two at Sun Theatre of Grand Ledge, MI, and three at the Emerald Theatre in Mt. Clemens, MI.

In 2018, more than 13,000 spectators attended the festival, making it the largest film festival in the United States dedicated exclusively to Italian film.
