INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Severe weather can and often does leave disaster in its wake. Whether it’s downed power lines and trees, destroyed houses or even the loss of life, the consequences of severe weather can be devastating.
However, as unpredictable as the weather can be, there are ways to prepare for the Mother Nature’s worst.
That’s why Tracy talked to network meteorologist Cheryl Nelson. Nelson shared some helpful hints and tips on what materials to have ready in the event of severe weather.
For instance, a couple of items she suggests including in a diaster preparedness kit are an item that provides internet via satellite and an air purifier.
