Celebrate spring with wines from Oliver Winery! Spring has been a long time coming this year in Indiana, and we are ready to raise a glass and toast to warm weather and blooming flowers. Wine is really about what you love to drink and the style of wine you choose to serve or enjoy should first meet that requirement! It can be overwhelming, though, to sort through all the choices in the wine aisle.

Sarah Anderson, Director of Marketing, Oliver Winery, says she’s hoping to take some guesswork out of the equation for you this season. She’s dreamed up three scenarios and the perfect wines to enjoy on each occasion.

1. The graduation celebration.

When you’re attending or hosting an open house or 21+ celebration of this milestone, choose a fun wine like Soft Red Lime or sparkling Bubblecraft White. Both are crowd pleasers. They taste great with finger foods and lots of flavors.

Lime makes a great citrus sangria!

Soft Red Lime: ~$8

Bubblecraft White: $11

2. Brunch.

Think bridal showers or Mother’s Day. A fun surprise wine like Cherry Moscato, one of our more recent releases. People love it! Pink, bright, just sweet enough. A little natural bubble. What’s not to love!? A traditional light, refreshing dry white served chilled is always a good choice with light brunch foods, too.

Cherry Moscato: $12

Sauvignon Blanc: $13

3. Evening on the patio.

Mix it up. Camelot Mead is the #1 mead in the U.S. We’ve been making it since the 1970s at Oliver. Our original craft beverage. Super fun package. It’s a very light, fresh wine. Pro tip: Grab a local IPA like Upland’s Dragonfly. Add equal parts wine and beer. A lovely honey-sweet finish. Perfect fire-pit fare!

Camelot Mead: $10

All of these selections are widely available at most major grocery and independent stores in Indiana and via the Oliver Winery website.
