Event at Children’s Museum of Indianapolis encourages young girls to connect with their “INNER SCIENTIST”

Did you know? Research from the U.S. Census Bureau shows that currently only 27 % of scientists in the U.S. are women. So how do we close the gender gap? An event happening at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis this Wednesday hopes to encourage young girls to connect with their “inner scientist.”

Here to talk about the event are Janelle Iaccino, Anna Kleck and Erin Anthony- all of “Franklin Pest Solutions” here in Indianapolis.

• The Barbie™ You Can Be Anything™: The Experience is currently on exhibit at the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis.
• On Wednesday, March 31 from 10am – 2pm a special event is happening at the museum tied to the Barbie Experience to encourage young girls’ interest in science and to consider a career in the field.
