Scouts of America hold popcorn fundraiser for camps, activities

From sweet to savory, the Boy Scouts of America have a popcorn flavor for everyone!

Molly Deuberry Craft of Crossroads of America Council and Boy Scouts of America joined us today along with Yoseph Craft, Boy Scout in Troop 56, to share how you can support the Boy Scouts and get some delicious popcorn for yourself. Here’s more from them:

Scouts across Central Indiana are selling popcorn. This included boys and girls, ages 5-18, kindergarten – 12th grade.

When you buy from a Scout, you are helping him or her go to summer and weekend camps, go horseback riding, learn archery, practice STEM skills, and more

This year’s flavors include Caramel Popcorn, Salted Caramel Popcorn, White Cheddar Popcorn, Sweet and Salty Kettle Corn, Unbelievable Butter Microwave Popcorn, (old school) Popping Corn, a Sweet and Savory Collection box (a gift box with White Cheddar Popcorn and Salted Caramel Popcorn), and chocolatey pretzels.

Prices range from $12 – $40. Approximately 70% of the purchase price supports local Scouting

Many stores across Central Indiana are partnering with our units to host weekend sales at the entrances/exits, so look for a Scout outside of Sullivan’s Hardware, your local Kroger, Lowe’s, Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, and many others.

Storefront popcorn sales end October 24m but you can buy online year-round.

Visit trails-end.com and select “Are you a Scout supporter?” If you know of a Scout you would like to support, enter his or her name.

If you don’t know a scout you want to support, you can use the code, “NFBA3OMN” when you purchase.
