Shalom Health Fair offers free health services for back to school
There are only a few weeks left of summer for most kids, so with the return of school comes the return of annual immunizations and sports physicals.
The Back-to-School Family Health Fair at the Shalom Health Care Center returns on Saturday, July 21st from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Morella Dominguez, Community Relations/Marketing Director, and Brandi Truesdale, Community Outreach, highlight features of the 12th annual event on the northwest side of Indy.
Over 3,500 people attended the Back-to-School Health Fair last year, with over 100 community partners on hand. There will be a Kids Zone, Entertainment Stage, and 10 free health screenings available with same day results.
Children are able to receive free immunizations and sports physicals. Every child in attendance will receive free backpacks with school supplies and be entered in a bicycle raffle.
