Tattoo artist shares meaningful military tattoos

Military vets often get tattoos to resemble a significant event or time while he or she was serving to preserve the memory in a physical way.

High Caliber Tattoos’ Bobby Easley & the Indianapolis Art Center’s Director of Education and Outreach Michelle Winkelman preview an upcoming event bringing their organizations together:

“The Things They Brought Home: Military Tattoos”

Saturday, November 12, 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Indianapolis Art Center

This interactive art exhibition will explore the veteran experience, tattoos, and the concept of the “body as home” through photography, writing, and panel discussion.
