The Film Yap reviews “I Still Believe” and more

If you plan on “catching a flick” this weekend, The Film Yap’s Christopher Lloyd runs down the list of “what’s playing:”

I Still Believe — This faith-based film tells the story of singer Jeremy Camp and his ill-fated romance with a strong woman. Think “Love Story” but with Christian pop music.

The Hunt — Hillary Swank and Betty Gilpin star in this satirical horror/thriller that’s a send-up of Red State/Blue State hysterics, as “deplorables” are hunted for sport.

The Traitor — This Italian drama tells the true story of Tommaso Buscetta, the mob informant who first broke ranks and brought down high-ranking Cosa Nostra figures.

Wendy — A very different take on the Peter Pan legend with a largely child cast. Lovely, lyrical, probably not for everyone.

Bloodshot — Vin Diesel stars in this Diesel-y action film about a soldier who is killed and brought back to life with superpowers, apparently not including the ability to grow hair or emote.

Burden — Garrett Hedlund and Forest Whitaker star in this based-on-true tale of a racial clash in a small Southern town about a museum celebrating the KKK. With Usher.

Bombshell — Amazing performances propell this behind-the-scenes look at sexual harassment at Fox News. Buy It.
