The Film Yap’s movies to watch at home: ‘Just Mercy,’ ‘Judy & Punch,’ ‘And We Go Green’

Movie theaters may be shut down right now, but there are still new movies for you to watch being released regularly. We checked in with Christopher Lloyd of The Film Yap to see what’s streaming, available Digitally/On-Demand and what you may have missed.

New On Digital/Demand:

Judy & Punch — Mia Waskikowska stars in this sharp little Aussie satire about the wife of a famed puppeteer getting her revenge for his abuse. Think “Shakespeare in Love” meets “I Spit Upon Your Grave.”

The Aerialist — Bloomington’s own Dreya Weber stars as an aging circus aerialist given one last shot at performing as part of rock tour in this drama.

Tommasino — Willem Dafoe stars in this film from writer/director Abel Ferrari (“Bad Lieutenant”) about an American dance teacher struggling while living in Rome with his wife and young daughter.

Shirley — Elisabeth Moss (she’s everywhere!) plays a horror novelist with writer’s block that is cured by the odd couple that moves in with them in this sexy thriller

Cool on Streaming:

And We Go Green — This documentary looks at the burgeoning sports of electric car racing. Now on Hulu.

You Might Have Missed:

Urban Cowboy — Travolta. Winger. A classic story of faux cowboys and the women who fall for them. Now on Blu-ray.

Just Mercy — One of last year’s best films is being released at a time when its message is poignant. Now free on VOD.
