This week’s New Life Challenge asks you to Recognize Them; Aging can be a scary time for most older adults. When they were working or being active in the community, many felt respected and important. In older age, that sense of acceptance or identification is often lost. As a family, try to get your elderly family members involved in volunteering, where they can regain that sense of accomplishment. Additionally, praise them for even the small accomplishments and recognize each success.
