What’s new at this year’s Indy GreekFest

Wrap up your summer by getting a taste of the Greek life at Indy GreekFest at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, located at 3500 W. 106th St., Carmel, Indiana. As one of Central Indiana’s oldest and largest ethnic festivals, Indy GreekFest offers visitors the experience of Greek culture, with authentic foods, pastries, music, dancing, church tours, cooking demos, a bazaar and children’s activities. Admission is free. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

What’s new at this year’s Indy GreekFest

Indy GreekFest will run Friday, Aug. 24 – Sunday, Aug. 26:

o    4 p.m. – 10 p.m., Friday, Aug. 24
o    11 a.m. – 10 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 25
o    11 a.m. – 4 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 26

Several dance troupes of varying ages will perform traditional Greek dances throughout the day.  

Some new features include Greek iced coffee available at the Grecian Grocery, a lamb pita sandwich at the Grecian Grill and an expanded Bounce House City for kids. Along with the delicious food and music, church tour visitors will have a chance to see the updated iconography both inside and outside the sanctuary. 

What’s new at this year’s Indy GreekFest

More than 400 families make up the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, for a total of 1,500 parishioners.
Indy GreekFest would not be a success without the support of more than 550 volunteers and the support of the Central Indiana Community. 

The Indy GreekFest is an annual fundraiser to benefit the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Carmel, Indiana. It is an opportunity for our church community to share our ethnic heritage through food, culture and Orthodox Christian faith. Now in its 45th year, it’s among the oldest cultural and food festivals in Central Indiana.
