101 Days of Summer – 101 Things to Do All Summer Long

Summer days scream for bare feet, frozen treats and new adventures! For the 5th year, Indy with Kid has put together their 101 Days of Summer list, the original summer fun list for Indy families. www.indywithkids.com/101-days-summer-101-things-indy-summer/

Here is just a small sample of things to do, courtesy of Megan Noel, Indy With Kids!Stay Cool

Nothing beats the heat like being near the water. This is the summer to stomp in creeks and visit every splash park. We also have some pretty sweet “beaches”. We’re loving the fun water obstacle course at Morse Beach. Another fun water activity is inner-tubing.www.indywithkids.com/locations/morse-park-and-beach/www.indywithkids.com/creek-stomping-in-indy-with-kids/www.indywithkids.com/sugar-creek-float/Frozen Treats

The ice cream truck has already started combing through a lot of neighborhoods but we love going on ice cream outings. Check out some of these hot spots to keep cool. www.indywithkids.com/frozen-treat-spots-for-hot-indianapolis-days/

Might we also recommend a milkshake…your ice cream will probably melt anyway, might as well start with it in a cup: www.indywithkids.com/where-to-get-the-best-milkshakes-in-indianapolis-brought-to-you-by-indulge/Bare Feet

Movies in the park are a hit during the summer, we suggest the monthly Friday night series in Carmel parks or in the Saxony community. You’ll even find some on the south side.www.indywithkids.com/outdoor-summer-movies-guide-2016/

Concerts in the park are also another great opportunity for children to hang out without their shoes on the picnic blanket or in the grass. www.indywithkids.com/outdoor-summer-family-friendly-concerts-free-cheap-2016/

Hit the park, kick off your shoes and fly a kite. www.indywithkids.com/indy-with-kites-the-citys-best-kite-flying-spaces/
