Steve (Adam Ray) is the bell captain at a swanky resort in Tucson, AZ. He decides that the only way to attract the attention of Kelly (Kelen Coleman), the chef concierge, is to lie about being promoted to management.
While Steve attempts to keep up the fib and avoid Alan (Willie Garson), the rooms division manager intent on busting him, things get complicated when a spiritual guru named Gunther Gochamonet (Thomas Lennon) has a plan to buy the hotel from the owner, Sid Whitman (Richard Kind), through devious means. Although his bumbling costs him his job, Steve elects to band together the bellmen and do whatever it takes to save the hotel.
The award-winning Comedy Will Be Available On Amazon, Google, iTunes, And Vudu
Winner of the Budd Abbott Award for Best Feature-length Comedy at the Garden State Film Festival, and an Official Selection at the Greenwich International Film Festival, “The Bellmen” is a hilarious comedy about a bellhop having to contend with his own baggage rather than that of the guests.
“The Bellmen” stars Adam Ray (“MADtv”) as Steve, Kelen Coleman (“Big Little Lies”) as Kelly, and Thomas Lennon (“Reno 911!”) as Gunther. The principal cast also includes Josh Zuckerman (“90210”), Willie Garson (“Sex and the City”), and Richard Kind (“Argo,” “Inside Out”).
With the exception of one scene, all filming took place exclusively at the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, Arizona. Many of the extras seen throughout the movie were actual employees of the hotel.
