Actors Theatre of Indiana presents: ‘Lush Life: A Tribute to Linda Ronstadt Live,’ ‘Lombardi: A New American Play’

The Actors Theatre of Indiana has two new shows that you don’t want to miss.

Tomorrow, October 28,  at Feinstein’s Cabaret. You can see Michele McConnell performing “Lush Life: A Tribute to Linda Ronstadt.” Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with showtime at 7:30 pm.

Description:

“Lush Life: Celebrating the music of Linda Ronstadt” brings Hoosier native Michele McConnell home from NYC to share some of her favorite selections of this living legend, including some specific influences on her own life and career!

Michele’s varied career has led her around the world performing in a variety of venues.  From luxury cruise ship stages around the globe, to giant Symphony halls, to NYC intimate cabarets, as well as her record-breaking Broadway run for over six years as the diva Carlotta in The Phantom of the Opera, Michele’s musical influences and inspirations are vast but connected by the same thread of loving the way that music unites and inspires us.

Hailed by NY1 news as “Divinely grandiose”, and by Opera News as an “exuberant comedienne” graced with a “megawatt smile”,  join Michele for this entertaining journey through an evening of Linda Ronstadt music that’s sure to have something for everyone!

Then from October 29 – November 7 you can see, “Lombardi: A New American Play.”

Description:

This Tony Nominated Broadway play follows Coach Vince Lombardi of the Green Bay Packers through a week in the 1965 NFL season as he attempts to lead his team to the championship. Although football’s Super Bowl trophy is named for him, few know the real story of Lombardi the man, his inspirations, his passions and ability to drive people to achieve what they never thought possible. Sport produces great human drama and there is no greater sports icon to bring to theatrical life than Hall of Fame Coach Vince Lombardi. “Winning isn’t everything, but the will to win is everything.”

You can join the cast of “Lombardi” along with special guest Mark Herrmann, Carmel High School Native, Purdue Alumi, and Indianapolis Colts Quarterback on November 7th to talk football directly after the 2:00pm show!
