Behind The Bricks: Driven2SaveLives BC39
The Driven2SaveLives BC39 presented by Avanti Windows & Doors is held each year at The Dirt Track at IMS to honor the legacy of Bryan Clauson, a celebrated dirt racer who tragically lost his life in a 2016 crash.
The BC in the race’s name stands for Bryan’s initials, and 39 was his car number.
Although the race has been held in his memory since 2018, Bryan’s impact goes far beyond the track, with his legacy visible throughout Central Indiana.
In Indianapolis, the Bryan Clauson Legacy Suite at the Indiana Donor Network offers families a special place to say goodbye to organ donors.
In Noblesville, a plaque in Forest Park pays tribute to his life and contributions to the community.
Additionally, the Clauson-Marshall race team in Fishers showcases Bryan’s trophies and memorabilia, preserving his racing achievements.
Through events like the BC39, Bryan’s family continues to honor his legacy while promoting the mission of registering organ donors and saving lives.
