Campaign helps to eliminate kids’ cavities

February is Children’s Dental Health Month, which focuses attention on the fact that almost half of children in the U.S. suffer from tooth decay, the most common chronic disease for young people ages six to nineteen.

If left untreated, cavities can negatively impact a child’s health and well-being and have even been linked to poor academic performance.

Dr. Maria Ryan of the Colgate-Palmolive company joined us today. They’re on a mission to create a zero cavity future for all.
