Couponers help struggling families, share money saving tips

It’s never a bad thing to save money. Today Amanda Mobley, president and Christina Huffines, founder of Dotted Line Divas joined us with some tips to help you save and do good for others at the same time.

The Dotted Line Divas are a Indianapolis hygiene pantry off of Michigan Road and 96th Street that holds a drive-through pantry each month.

They supply families with daily items that most food pantries don’t provide and food stamps don’t cover.

Many families are using items such as newspapers for their babies’ diapers or not able to buy basics such as toothpaste, shampoo, pads, or deodorant and we supply those items.

On the third Saturday of every month, from 10 am to 12 pm, cars line up and we bring a bag of these items to each car. People only need to bring a photo ID.

Where to find coupons:

Flipp smartphone app

Store apps (Ex. Kroger and Target)

Facebook deal groups (in state for price checking)

How you can help:

The Dotted Line Divas are looking for businesses to partner with them on the donation drives, volunteers to help once a month, and help spreading the word to families in need.

They also have this Amazon wish list if anyone can’t volunteer their time and would like to donate items from home.

For more information visit the Dotted Line Divas Instagram, Facebook and website.
