Moms explain why consignment sales are good for parents of older kids, too
The consignment world is not just for new moms or moms with little ones – while your child is growing, Here We Grow Again can grow with you during this journey!
Katie Awaad previews the upcoming Here We Grow Again Fall Sale, taking place Wednesday, October 3 – Saturday, October 6 at the Hendricks County Fairgrounds. Consignment Sales offer bigger saves on youth to teen clothing. Once your child hits a certain age, the clearance racks and sales are not as great as they once were. Shopping name-brand items for way less is huge to families and single income families. There is a point where kids start caring about brands and designs. Shopping gently used items in those brands is really smart! Consignment sales are also great for buying items for all the extra activities they are in. Bigger kids calendars are extremely full with different opportunities, such as football, baseball, dance, karate and gymnastics. Shopping in sports and dance attire at the sale is also a really good spot to save money. You can also find the right consignment sale to fit your needs through the college years. A recent trend has seen youth and teen clothing selling at 60% now. These moms and dads that started with consignment sale shopping in 2012 are now shopping those same racks. If you can’t make it to the Indy West sale next week, there are still other opportunities to shop:
Indy South
– through Saturday, September 29 at the Johnson County Fairgrounds
Indy North
– October 17 – 20 at the Boone County Fairgrounds
