1 airlifted after crash on I-65 near SR 46 exit
COLUMBUS, Ind. (WISH) – Police say one person was injured on Saturday evening during a three car crash on Interstate 65.
According to Chris Lane, chief deputy for the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department, one person was airlifted with serious leg injuries.
The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. just two miles north of the State Road 46 exit. That is between Columbus and Taylorsville.
Police say I-65 southbound was temporarily closed while they cleared the crash.
Other details about the crash were limited Saturday night.
