Vehicle of interest sought in 1st Indianapolis homicide of 2020

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police are seeking information about a vehicle in connection to the Indianapolis’ first recorded homicide in 2020.

Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department found a man with apparent gunshot wounds inside a vacant home around 12:15 p.m. Saturday in the 3100 block of Priscilla Avenue, near 30th Street and Arlington Avenue.

Emergency medical professionals pronounced the man dead at the scene, IMPD said.

No additional information about the identity of the victim or the circumstances of the shooting were available on Saturday.

On Saturday night, police released a photo of a vehicle of interest in the case. The vehicle is described as a white or silver 2015-2018 Chevy Malibu or Impala with recent body work markings on the driver’s side, rear quarter panel.
