1 seriously injured in shooting on west side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — One person was seriously injured in a shooting on the city’s west side.
The shooting happened in the 3800 block of West Michigan Street around 7:30 a.m.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were dispatched to the area on reports of a person shot.
Officers found one victim who was seriously injured. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital.
No suspect information has been released.
