1 shot in back, in serious condition on south side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One person is in serious condition following an overnight shooting, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
IMPD said the victim, who was found shot in the back in the 100 block of West Arizona Street around 3 a.m., was actually shot somewhere on the east side.
However, the victim was taken to the West Arizona Street location.
Police have not released any victim or suspect information.
It’s unclear what led up to the shooting.
