2 killed in Hamilton County crash

FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) – Two people are dead following a Wednesday morning single-vehicle crash in Hamilton County.

According to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to the 10700 block of East 121st Street just before 2:30 a.m. for a serious crash.

Deputies say the 2017 Mercedes Benz A45 was headed east on 121st Street when, for an unknown reason, the vehicle left the roadway and struck several trees. 

Both the driver, 22-year-old Daveneet Chahal, and the front seat passenger, 19-year-old Varundeep Bring, were killed in the crash.

A passenger in the back of the vehicle, Gurjot Sandhu, who was found outside of the vehicle, was transported to St. Vincent Hospital. His condition was not provided. 

Police say Chahal was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. 

The fatal crash remains under investigation.
