2019 now in top ten for wettest year
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — It’s been a little dreary lately, and we’ve had several days of rain this month.
So far for May, we’ve had 13 days where measurable rain has been recorded at Indianapolis International Airport. The most was a little more than a half an inch on May 16.
Our monthly rainfall now sits at 2.96 inches, which is 66 tenths of an inch below normal.
The yearly precipitation is now at 20.44 inches, which is 4.47 inches above normal. This makes it the eighth-wettest year on record in Indianapolis.
