24 arrests made in cellphone store robberies in Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police on Wednesday night announced 24 arrests connected to a string of cellphone store robberies.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said in a news release that 31 felonies and 11 misdemeanors were filed.
Earlier Wednesday, IMPD, the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force, representatives of the mayor’s office and security teams from the cellphone companies met to come up with ways to prevent store robberies and protect employees and customers.
The names of the people arrested have not been released.
