4 arrested, charged in Flora bank robberies
CARROLL COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – Police in Flora say they have solved two robberies that happened at the same bank.
The Salin Bank on West Columbia Street was robbed on February 4 and February 18. During both robberies, the suspects displayed a weapon and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Following a four month investigation by Flora and Kokomo police, four people have been arrested and charged.
22-year-old Cameron Zimmerman of Scottsburg, is charged with two counts of armed robbery and two counts of confinement.
18-year-old Darrise Collins of Kokomo, faces two counts of armed robbery.
18-year-old Malik Black of Indianapolis, and 28-year-old Jacob Deweese of Kokomo, both face one count of armed robbery.
Police said they were assisted in their investigation by citizens who called in tips.
