465 northbound back open after NE side crash

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A crash on the northeast side of Indianapolis shut down part of Interstate 465 Thursday evening.

INDOT reported around 5:30 p.m. that all lanes of northbound I-465 were closed near East 56th Street and North Shadeland Avenue because of the crash.

Indiana State Police and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said around 5:45 p.m. that there were no active crash scenes in that area and that traffic was again moving.

Details surrounding the crash weren’t immediately clear.
