911 service restored in central Indiana counties
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Several Indiana counties today experienced temporary shutdowns of their 911 services.
But 11:45 a.m., counties that had outages said service appeared to be restored. Counties that had service issues included Delaware, Hancock, Madison, Shelby and Randolph, according to local authorities.
Authorities did not explain what caused the disruption of service, although some counties cited AT&T was working on restoring the service.
