Alcohol believed to be factor in south side crash
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — One person has been hospitalized, the victim of a suspected drunk driver.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says that two vehicles collided near the intersection of Rahke Road and Meridian School Road just after 9:30 p.m. Monday.
Police say that one driver was suspected to be drunk and was transported to a local hospital for a blood draw. The other driver was hospitalized with a head laceration.
IMPD says the Fatal Alcohol Crash Team was requested to assist.
