300 central Indiana artists sought for March Madness pop-up events

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — If you are an artist in central Indiana, the Arts Council of Indianapolis wants your help welcoming college basketball fans to the city for March Madness. It’s also a chance for local artists to share in the national spotlight.

Lindsey Lord, director of Artist Services for the Arts Council, talked about what the spotlight could mean for the city’s arts community. Watch the videos to hear what she had to say.

Leaders in this project along with the Arts Council include Indiana Sports Corp, Indianapolis Cultural Trail and many more organizations forming a welcome committee ahead of the event.

While the deadline has passed for visual artists to sign up, they are still looking for music, dance and performance artists.
