Author discusses how patients can connect better with doctors
(WISH) — When it comes to doctors, patients want to be heard, understood and have a connection.
Sometimes that doesn’t happen.
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, many doctors are burned out.
That can lead to communication mistakes and trouble being honest with your health care provider.
So when is it time to fire your doctor? That’s the focus of this book, “Reimagining Customer Service in Healthcare: Boost Loyalty, Profits, and Outcomes.”
Author Jennifer l. FitzPatrick of Jenerations Health Education spoke with “All Indiana” hosts on Thursday about the warning signs that indicate patients are not connecting with their doctors. Also, she shared what people can do if they don’t believe their doctors are listening.
