CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) — The Carmel Marathon is back for 2021 after being virtual-only for 2020.
The run is set for Saturday, April 3 and nearly 3,000 participants are expected.
The 11th annual event will also include a Fitness Expo on April 2 at the Carter Green, which is on the south side of the Palladium.
“We’ve been able to work with a very proactive Carmel mayor’s department, police, fire and medical and really look through the details to see if we can make this work,” said Todd Oliver, race director for the Carmel Marathon, in an interview with McKinzie Roth on All Indiana. “We’ve made a lot of changes because of COVID.”
Participants are required to sign a COVID-19 waiver.
