CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) — The City of Carmel is launching a new event to give people a unique way to find a new favorite adult beverage.
The Brews and Barrels Trail starts Friday and due to the COVID-19 pandemic and crowd restrictions, the Trail will be launched over two weekends: September 19-20 and October 24-25. Organizers created a special map, highlighting 13 different craft breweries, distilleries, and wineries that covers 50 square miles of the city.
Carmel has become home to several independently owned breweries in recent years and many of the businesses being featured are offering special deals during the tour.
“When we first started talking about this last year, we wanted to have one giant celebration with thousands of people, but that wasn’t going to happen. So instead, we’re unrolling it at all 13 locations this weekend,” said City of Carmel Spokesman, Dan McFeely.
Special prizes are also being offered to guests checking out the Brews and Barrels Trail. Click here for more information.
