Giraffe baby ventures out for first time at Indianapolis Zoo
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indianapolis Zoo’s newest giraffe calf, 4 -month-old Kendi, ventured into the facility’s public yard for the first time Wednesday.
He spent several hours exploring the habitat as the temperature in Indianapolis hit 70 degrees for the first time in 2021.
Kendi is 7.5 feet tall and will grow several feet taller by his first birthday.
