INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indy Shorts International Film Festival celebrates short films and the creators behind them.
One film is getting a lot of praise for its heartwarming storyline.
“Heartland” is about a grandfather who is dying and his granddaughter’s wish to make lasting memories with him during his final days.
Jahmil Eady directed the film and says it’s a reflection of her personal history.
“I think the main point is that technology is not going anywhere, right? How could we not want to record the most important moments of our lives? The trick is to find the balance,” Eady said.
