How to make Mimi’s Irresistible Baked Beans
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — You may be craving these forever after just one bite!
- 2 large (28 ounce) cans of Van Camp’s Pork and Beans
- 1 (15 ounce) can Van Camp’s Pork and Beans
- 2 cups Heinz ketchup
- 2 large sweet onions, cut in half
- 4 strips bacon
- Preheat oven to 350º
- Pour some of the liquid off of the cans of beans
- In a 9×13 casserole dish, pour all beans
- Stir in ketchup and brown sugar
- Place onion halves in, cut side down, arranging in places around the beans
- Put strips of bacon lengthwise across the beans and onions and sprinkle the top with a little more brown sugar
- Place in the oven uncovered for 1 1/2 hours
