SPEEDWAY, Ind. (WISH)– An Indianapolis artist who’s had her work on display all over the city is showcasing her talent. This time it’s to celebrate the Indy 500.
Shaunt’e Lewis has put her art on many different mediums, but this year she stepped up to the unique task of painting an Indy Car. It’s an effort to encourage people to enter the Vuse Design Challenge, and potentially see their own creation on an Indy Car racing the track at the Nashville Grand Prix in August.
All Indiana’s Randall Newsome got to speak to Lewis during her second day of painting. Click the video to see her interview and her progress and learn how she approached the challenge.
