Simon Pagenaud signing pumpkins in support of Speedway businesses ahead of Harvest GP weekend

SPEEDWAY, Ind. (WISH)– Businesses in Speedway have been hit hard this year by the COVID-19 pandemic, especially since fans haven’t been at races at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. However, they’re getting some support from Indy 500 champ Simon Pagenaud.

Wednesday night, he’ll be signing pumpkins at 3 Sisters and a Trunk Boutique and the other businesses on Main Street impacted by the lack of fans showing up for races in 2020 because of COVID-19 restrictions.

3 Sisters and a Trunk is also selling Simon’s merchandise line, and Pagenaud is using his platform in hopes of getting people in the Harvest GP spirit and bringing race fans back to support these local businesses.

Speedway Chamber of Commerce is hoping you’ll support businesses on Main Street as they continue to battle back from the impact of COVID-19. See how they’re getting everybody in the fall spirit with Indy 500 Champ Simon Pagenaud official #supportinglocal #indianapolismotorspeedway WISH-TV
