Another cool night; rain chances return Friday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Our quiet weather pattern comes to an end, with several rain chances and warmer temperatures returning to the forecast.

Tonight:

After another beautiful day across central Indiana, we’ll be in for a quiet and cool night.  Clear conditions through the overnight, with lows in the middle to upper 50s.

Friday:

We’ll start off dry in the morning, with increasing clouds heading toward lunchtime.  An upper-level wave moving through should help to squeeze a few isolated to scattered light showers to the area for the afternoon and evening.  Rainfall should be relatively light.

Can’t rule out a few isolated light showers, but nothing like last Friday.  Temperatures hover around 70°.

The heat rolls on heading back to work and school next week.  Several days of highs hovering around 90°, with “feels like” temperatures in the middle to upper 90s.  With the dome of heat overhead, daily, isolated storm chances will be possible both Monday and Tuesday.  Next best rain chance move in Wednesday and Thursday, as another disturbance moves through.  heavy rain will be possible with a ton of moisture in the air to play with.  Check back for updates!
