Another hot day

It is going to be another hot and humid day across Indiana with highs again this afternoon near 90. If we hit 90 it will mark the 15th time so far this year. The average is 18 times. There will be a few scattered thunderstorms developing later today.

The 4th of July will be even hotter with highs in the middle 90s. There is a heat advisory from noon until 8pm tomorrow. Heat indices will climb to near or above 100 tomorrow afternoon. There will also be a slight chance for a thunderstorm. The weather should be dry, warm and humid for the fireworks tomorrow evening. The extended outlook has a cold front moving through the area Friday morning. This will bring in cooler and less humid air for the weekend. Highs on Saturday will be in the lower 80s on Saturday and middle 80s on Sunday. Skies will be mostly sunny through the weekend.
