Another round of rain heads this way

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Another batch of showers and even a few thunderstorms will move through the area Thursday night and early Friday morning.

More rain will develop later Thursday night and we may even see a few thunderstorms. It looks like the best chance of severe weather will stay in southern Indiana, northern Kentucky and western Ohio. There is a small chance we may see a strong thunderstorm in the southern part of our viewing area.

Temperatures will be falling back into the 60s.

Be sure to keep the umbrella handy for early Friday morning. Showers will be likely for the first part of the day.

The rain moves out by noon and we’ll stay with a mostly cloudy sky. Highs will be in the 60s north of I-70 and lower 70s in the southern part of the state.

This weekend looks like it will be a spilt weekend. There’s a chance we may see some showers for the mini marathon Saturday morning. Showers will continue off and on during the day.

Highs Saturday will be a bit cooler staying in the 60s.

The rain will move out for the end of the weekend and highs will climb back into the 70s.

While Monday looks dry, rain chances return for the middle of the work week. Showers and storms will be possible making for an active weather week once again.
