Another scorcher for today with relief mid week
A very hot and summer like day in central Indiana Sunday with highs in the lower 90s making for the 28th day this year with highs in the 90s! No except today with heat and humidity spilling into today. Highs expected to hit the lower 90s with feel like temperatures in the upper 90s and lower 100s. Lots of sunshine for today with a southerly wind pumping in humid and hot air for this afternoon and tonight. Lows will slip to the mid 70s with mostly clear skies.
Tuesday will be another hot and humid day with another day in the lower 90s and lots of sunshine. Relief is on the way come Wednesday! Scattered showers and storms spread into the area. A marginal risk for strong to severe thunderstorms across all of central Indiana during the afternoon. Highs for Wednesday will top out in the mid 80s.
Thursday will feel refreshing and cool compared to the stretch of 90s we’re seeing. Highs in the upper 70s with partly sunny skies during the day. We build back to the lower 80s by Friday with dry conditions for now for the Zone. This weekend holds our next chance of showers and storms with high temperatures in the mid 80s.
