Argument over video game console sale ends in gunfire
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — An argument over the price of a video game console led to a shot being fired in east Columbus, Ohio.
It happened around 3:19 p.m. on the first block of South Hampton Road.
According to Columbus police, the victim, Laquans Smith, was arguing with another person over the price of a game console he was selling. The suspect then pulled out a handgun and fired a single shot, striking Smith.
Smith was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.
The suspect left the area after the shooting.
